Welcome to Stokeshire Designer Doodles, a venture owned by James & Katie Stokes. We're thrilled that you've discovered us and are contemplating the idea of welcoming one of our puppies into your life. If you share our passion for dogs and all things adorable and cuddly—babies included, if it's not already evident—then you're in the right place.

As proud holders of a State of Wisconsin Licensed & Inspected: 514401-DS Dog Breeder for dog breeding, we prioritize the sanctity of life and celebrate the captivating diversity within the genetic makeup of 'Man's Best Friend.' Our fascination lies in the unique personalities and destinies that each puppy possesses, a testament to the incredible genetic range found in canines.

Much akin to human beings, dogs are influenced by both nature and nurture. Our mission is to provide each puppy with the optimal conditions for a fulfilling, lengthy, and healthy life—one brimming with love, purpose, and adventure. Achieving this requires a meticulous level of intentionality, design, and planning.

Over ten years, we've traversed thousands of miles and carefully selected our breeding team, driven by a dedication to excellence. We are overjoyed to witness the convergence of champion purebred bloodlines with the most exceptional poodles, creating a harmonious blend that reflects our commitment to producing unique and outstanding companions.

Our reverence for life includes the beauty we find in the incredible genome of 'Man's Best Friend.' We're simply enamored by the genetic diversity of canines and how every puppy has its own unique personality and destiny.

Much like people, they're impacted by nature and nurture; our goal is to give each puppy the best possible opportunity to have a long, happy, and healthy life - filled with adventure, love, and purpose.

This takes a high level of intentionality, design, and planning. We've traveled thousands of miles for our dogs and spent seven years selecting our breeding team. We couldn’t be more excited to see their champion purebred bloodlines paired with the most unique poodles we could hope for!

Our mission is to produce proprietary doodle crosses that we anticipate will result in intelligent, loyal, obedient, strikingly beautiful, medium-sized, hypoallergenic dogs* best suited for the American homeowner. Our focus in the years to come will be to purposefully breed Australian Mountain Doodles (AMD) & Golden Mountain (GMD) Doodles beginning, what we hope will one day be, the foundation for the future breed standards and constitutional bloodlines.

All of our puppies are raised in our home and studio with our 10 homeschooled children. By the time they are ready for adoption, our puppies will have been handled for over 50 hours by young children making them well-suited for families with kids of all ages, facilities, and schools.
