How reservations, selection, and placement work at Stokeshire:

At Stokeshire Designer Doodles, we believe exceptional matches happen when clarity and commitment come first. Our Puppy Reservation Agreement is designed for families who are ready to move forward thoughtfully and responsibly.

Reservation Fee — $500 + tax

A $500 reservation deposit secures your intent to proceed with adoption and places you in line for immediate or upcoming puppy placement, depending on availability.

  • This deposit is applied toward the final purchase price of your puppy

  • It reflects a shared commitment to ethical breeding, responsible planning, and fair placement

  • Reservation deposits follow our standard Deposit, Refund & Transfer Policy

What the Reservation Does — and Does Not Do

What it does:

  • Confirms your seriousness and readiness to adopt

  • Holds your position for quick placement when a puppy is offered

  • Allows us to schedule your Puppy Pick Day or virtual selection promptly

What it does not do:

  • Guarantee a specific puppy

  • Create a refundable “holding period”

  • Pause training timelines or placement schedules

Decision & Placement Expectations

When a puppy is offered to your family, we’ll guide you through temperament insights, observations, and professional recommendations to help you decide with confidence.

If you choose to pass on an offered puppy, the reservation deposit is not refunded. Transfer eligibility, if applicable, follows the same policies already in effect for all waitlist reservations.

This structure allows us to:

  • Protect fairness for all families on the waitlist

  • Avoid delayed decisions that impact puppy development

  • Maintain consistent care, training, and placement timelines

Puppy Reservation Agreement

(Post–Selection Day Holds)

At Stokeshire Designer Doodles, some puppies remain available after Puppy Pick Day. When this happens, we offer a short-term Puppy Reservation Agreement for families who are seriously considering one of these available puppies and would like to meet or learn more before completing adoption.

This option exists solely to support thoughtful, timely placement of puppies who were not selected during initial waitlist appointments.

Reservation Fee — $500 + tax

A $500 reservation deposit temporarily reserves a specific available puppy for your family.

  • The puppy is removed from public availability during the reservation window

  • The deposit is applied toward the final purchase price if you proceed

  • All reservation deposits follow our existing Deposit, Refund & Transfer Policy

This is the same reservation structure used throughout the Stokeshire program—no special exceptions.

What This Reservation Is For

This reservation option is intended for:

  • Puppies that were passed over on Selection Day

  • Families who would like to meet the puppy or review details before finalizing adoption

  • Short, intentional decision-making—not extended consideration

Reservation Window

  • The puppy is held for up to 48 hours

  • During this time, no other family may reserve or purchase the puppy

  • A virtual or in-person meeting may be scheduled during this window, if applicable

If checkout is not completed within the 48-hour reservation period, the puppy may be released to the next interested family.

Important Clarifications

  • This reservation does guarantee temporary exclusivity for the specific puppy

  • This reservation does not create a refundable trial period

  • Passing on the puppy does not result in a refund

  • Reservation deposits remain subject to all standard non-refund and transfer terms

Training timelines, pricing, and placement expectations are not paused during a reservation.

If you choose not to move forward with adoption:

  • The reservation deposit is not refunded

  • Transfer eligibility, if applicable, follows the same policies already in place for all reservations

  • The puppy will be offered to the next family

This structure ensures fairness to other families while protecting the puppy’s continuity of care and training.

Política de Reembolsos

¿Cómo solicito el reembolso del 50% si decido no continuar con el cachorro?
Si después de la llamada virtual decides no avanzar con la compra, solo avísanos y procesaremos un reembolso de $50 para ti.

¿Cuánto tarda en llegar mi reembolso?
Los reembolsos suelen procesarse en un plazo de 3 a 5 días hábiles, dependiendo de tu método de pago.

¿La tarifa de reserva se puede transferir a otro cachorro o servicio?
No, la tarifa de reserva no es transferible y solo aplica al cachorro que reservaste originalmente.

¿Cómo programo la llamada virtual?
Te enviaremos un enlace para que elijas el horario de tu llamada virtual una vez confirmada tu reserva.

¿Qué pasa si pierdo la llamada programada?
Si pierdes la llamada, por favor contáctanos para reprogramarla dentro del período de reserva de 72 horas. Haremos lo posible por adaptarnos, pero si no se toma una decisión dentro de ese plazo, el cachorro volverá a estar disponible.

¿Puedo reprogramar la llamada virtual si es necesario?
Sí, con gusto la reprogramamos siempre que sea dentro del periodo de reserva de 72 horas.

¿Qué puedo esperar durante la llamada virtual?
Durante la llamada te presentaremos al cachorro, responderemos tus preguntas y hablaremos sobre su temperamento, salud y compatibilidad con tu familia.

Disponibilidad de Cachorros

¿Alguien más puede comprar el cachorro durante mi período de reserva?
No, una vez que hayas pagado la tarifa de reserva, el cachorro quedará apartado exclusivamente para ti durante las 72 horas.

¿Qué pasa si no tomo una decisión al finalizar el período de reserva?
Si no tenemos noticias tuyas dentro de las 72 horas, el cachorro se pondrá nuevamente a disposición de otros compradores y la tarifa de reserva no será reembolsada.
