Breed Makeup (Approximate)
Each puppy in this litter will be a blend of:
- ~66% Poodle (mini + standard)
- ~22% Bernese Mountain Dog
- ~12% Golden Retriever
This mix is designed to balance low shedding and trainability (Poodle) with the gentle, family-minded nature of the Golden and the soulful, loyal presence of the Bernese.

PAST GMD LITTER WITH RAE X RICO
Meet the Parents: Rae (Dam) & Rico (Sire) - PAST LITTER
Rae x Rico Puppy at 8 Months Brown/Chocolate/Red Merle Bi Tuxedo GMD - Straight/Wavy Coat
We are thrilled to announce an upcoming Golden Mountain Doodle litter from Rae (a second-generation Stokeshire Standard F1B Cream Goldendoodle, 60-70 lbs) and Rico (an F1B Bernedoodle, 30 lbs). Rae, with her hidden brown merle coat, is fully furnished, while Rico, a brown tri Bernedoodle, is expected to produce offspring that will be around 40-50 lbs.
Coat Traits:
Color: All puppies will inherit a solid brown coat with brown pigment. Approximately 50% of the litter will inherit the "sp" allele, which means they will have some white areas on their coat, while 25% will have nearly white coats or large patches of white. A 25% chance remains for puppies with minimal white or no white.
Merle Gene: There is a 50% chance the puppies will inherit a merle allele and show a merle pattern or be cryptic merle.
Coat Texture: Expect long, wavy, furnished coats that shed lightly, making these puppies ideal for families with allergies.
Health Profile:
Genetic Health: The litter is predicted to be clear of 14 significant genetic health conditions, including Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures (NEWS), and Von Willebrand Disease (vWD).
Carrier Risk: The puppies may inherit one copy of Ichthyosis (ICH1), a recessive condition, meaning there is a 50% chance of the puppies being clear or a 50% chance of being carriers. Similarly, there is a 50% chance of the puppies being clear or carriers for Progressive Retinal Atrophy (prcd).
Genetic Information:
Expected COI: The expected eCOI (coefficient of inbreeding) for this pairing is 3%, indicating a low degree of inbreeding for healthy genetic diversity.
We can’t wait to see these beautiful puppies join the world! If you're interested in learning more or reserving a puppy, please reach out today.
